To celebrate the release of 1001 Cranes: A Novel, we will be having a crane decorating contest here. Just fold a paper crane the best you can and decorate it to express who you are. You can draw on it or glue glitter or beads -- go wild and be creative.
After you're finished, take a digital picture of it and e-mail it to bachi (at) naomihirahara.com. You can also snail mail it to P.O. Box 60614, Pasadena, CA 91116. Unfortunately any cranes received via snail mail cannot be returned.
I'll be posting some of the submissions here, and every three months for a year (Oct. 1, Dec. 1, March 1, June 1), I'll be announcing a seasonal winner. You can submit multiple times, so tell your friends. Most of all, have fun!
